On July 1,2023 one of the paparazzi accounts posted an Instagram video of the 'Shehzada' actor on his knees interacting with an old lady in a wheelchair at a multiplex.

After the interaction, she blesses him by patting his back multiple times, and before Kartik could go, she put a kiss on the actor's hands. The footage is thought to have been shot after the premiere of his film 'SatyaPrem Ki Katha.'
