Scary! Karan Johar was on Lawrence Bishnoi's target list for extortion
Filmmaker Karan Johar was on the target list of the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang for extortion. As per latest update, the gang, which is involved in the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala, had planned to extort Rs. 5 crores from Johar by threatening the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016) director.
This information came to light when Siddhesh Kamble, alias Mahakal, an alleged member of the gang, revealed the same to Police during investigation. However, as per a report, a senior police official has stated that authentication of these claims are yet to be verified.
Noteworthy, Siddhesh used to be a close associate of Santosh Jadhav, a suspected shooter in the Sidhu Moose Waala murder case.
Earlier, Siddhesh Kamble had reportedly divulged details about Sidhu Moose Wala’s case and named Santosh Jadhav and Nagnath Suryavanshi as being the ones who did the killing.
A few days back, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan had reportedly received a death threat from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Following the discovery of a threatening letter outside their Bandra residence in Mumbai, security was beefed up by the Police.
