Selfiee: Akshay Kumar bags the ‘Guinness World Record’ after he clicks the most selfies in three minutes
Ahead of his film Slefiee’s release, Akshay Kumar has pulled off a massive Guinness World Record to his name for capturing the most selfies in a given time.

One of the most popular actors, Akshay Kumar, is now busy promoting his forthcoming movie, Selfiee. This also marks his first collaboration with Emraan Hashmi. The Raj Mehta-directed film is being eagerly anticipated by the audience after the trailer and songs earned an incredibly high level of positive feedback. In the middle of hectic promotions, Akshay broke the Guinness World Record for the most self-portrait images (selfies) taken in three minutes at a meet and greet with fans set for Mumbai on Wednesday.
Akshay Kumar achieves another milestone with his Selfies
Through his daring stunts, Akshay has frequently won his fans. The actor, however, has reached the mark this time by taking 184 selfies in only three minutes. James Smith's previous record of 168 self-portrait photos (selfies) taken in three minutes was broken by him with this (USA). At the London premiere of San Andreas, Hollywood star Dwayne Johnson set a record by taking 105 self-portrait photos (also known as selfies) in three minutes.
Akshay announced this achievement by thanking his fans and writing in his Instagram post, “Everything I have achieved and where I am in life is due to the unconditional love of my fans. This is my special tribute to them, acknowledging how they have stood by me throughout my career. With the help of my fans, we have broken the Guinness World Record for Most Selfies in 3 minutes :)Thank you everyone. This was very special and I'll remember this forever. Selfiee is scheduled to hit the big screens on February 24.
