Shabaash Mithu: Cricket legends Sachin Tendulkar reacts to Taapsee Pannu’s film trailer
The trailer for Taapsee Pannu's biopic on Indian Women's Cricket Team Captain Mithali Raj, Shabaash Mithu, was released yesterday and has received a lot of positive comments from across the board.
The power-packed trailer has been praised by not only netizens but even cricketing champions and entertainment industry insiders. In terms of the trailer, Taapsee Pannu has also been praised for her work. It's only added to the buzz around the biopic. The trailer has also drawn the attention of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar.
Sachin Tendulkar appreciated the Shabaash Mithu trailer and tweeted a note about it. He retweeted Sourav Ganguly's tweet and wrote, "The #ShabaashMithuTrailer is heartwarming. Mithali has inspired millions to dream and follow their passion & I am looking forward to watching this movie. My best wishes to the entire team."
Mumtaz Sorcar, Vijay Raaz, and Brijendra Kala star alongside Taapsee Pannu in the film.
Mithali declared her retirement from international cricket earlier this month. She was a member of the Women in Blue for 23 years, having made her debut at the age of 16 in 1999. She had scored a century in her first One-Day International against Ireland.
