Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham share the screen space in the highly-anticipated spy thriller Pathan. The film was expected to arrive on Diwali 2022, but if fresh reports are to be believed, the makers are planning to release the high-profile project a little later, owing to the quality of work required.
Pathan has been making waves and hitting headlines ever since the news emerged that superstar Shah Rukh Khan would be returning to the big screen with the Siddharth Anand directorial. He was last seen in Zero, co-starring Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma.
A well-placed source within the industry informs a publication that the makers are planning to lock some other date for the release of the film as they want to give it more time. Producer Aditya Chopra and director Siddharth Anand are reportedly working tirelessly to ensure that Pathan exceeds all expectations.
“Shah Rukh Khan is making a comeback to cinema post a self-imposed 4-year hiatus, and since Pathan is a part of a specific production house’s spy universe along with Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif's Tiger franchise and Hrithik Roshan's War (2019), every little detail of the movie is being scrutinised with a fine comb,” the source says.
