Superstar Shah Rukh Khan had to take a break due to his son Aryan Khan’s legal battles. Aryan Khan was accused of dealing in drugs and was also arrested. He is currently out on bail. SRK could not focus on his work due to these issues on the personal front. But now that things have returned to normal, King Khan is expected to return and begin filming on his next project with director Atlee Kumar.
In the last weeks of December, Shah Rukh Khan wrapped completed the shoots for brand endorsements and films. He has wrapped up his cameo appearance in Tiger 3 and domestic shoots of Pathan.
Director Atlee had lined up a schedule break in November, but it had to be extended to January due to the rising Omicron cases in the country. With Shah Rukh Khan back, he is gearing up to start shooting by mid-February.
“The schedules have all been pushed back due to the unforeseen break. Shah Rukh will begin Rajkumar Hirani’s film in April. So, Atlee’s team has been instructed to wrap up the action by March. The shoot will take place at multiple locations in Mumbai," a source close to the production revealed.
On the other hand, the makers of Pathan are trying to lock in Shah Rukh for a European schedule. A source said, “Shah Rukh, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham’s dates were taken for October. Now, the team is trying to get their combination dates again.”
Shah Rukh Khan is also teaming up with acclaimed filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani for an untitled film. Stay tuned.
