Shah Rukh Khan’s picture with AR Rahman and son AR Ameen wins the internet; fans are reminded of Dil Se
At Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan's star-studded wedding in Mahabalipuram, King of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan and King of music AR Rahman had a small Dil Se (1998) reunion. AR Ameen, Rahman's son, shared a photo of himself with his father and SRK on Instagram on Wednesday, and it quickly went viral.
While the Pathaan actor looked dapper in a white shirt and black pants for the occasion, the father-son duo opted for traditional wear. SRK stood in the middle of the picture, with the musician on one side and Ameen on the other.
Fans flocked to the comment section as soon as AR Ameen shared the post, recalling their musical outings such as Dil se (198), Swades (2004), One 2 ka 4 (2001), and Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012). For the uninitiated, AR Rahman scored music for Mani Ratnam's 1998 film Dil Se, which starred Shah Rukh Khan.
At Nayanthara and filmmaker Vignesh Shivan's wedding, Shah Rukh and AR Rahman were among the select guests. In the company of close family members and a slew of film industry acquaintances, the pair married in a lavish ceremony.
