There is no denying that Shah Rukh Khan has a sizable fan base globally. He may have taken a vacation and stayed away from the big screen for a while, but he kept making news and remained significant. The superstar, who has dominated the industry for the past three decades, is responsible for some of cinema's all-time classics and dramatic films, like Swades. Ashutosh Gowariker directed the 2004 picture, which came out in theatres.

A while ago, Shah Rukh Khan's portrayal of Mohan Bhargav was shared on Twitter by US author and public figure Curtis S. Chin. A user responded to the same by writing, “The credit of this movie goes to Ashutosh Gowariker, the way he directed and ensured that SRK didn’t overact and was subdued. Latter did a good job though. Javed Akhtar with the lyrics and Rahman with the music pulled this off. “Pal Pal Hai Bhaari” is simply out of the world.”
Still regarded as his best portrayal, Shah Rukh Khan played Mohan Bhargav in Swades.
