Shahid Kapoor has made a successful career for himself working in Hindi cinema. The actor has had a fair share of hit and flop movies in his career. However, his previous film Jersey was supposed to be a big hit for him after he gave a class performance in Kabir Singh (2019). But the film couldn’t manage to live up to the buzz created and also failed to earn a good number at BO.
Recently, the Batti Gul Meter Chalu actor was questioned about Jersey’s box office failure, and to our surprise, the actor isn’t saddened by its BO collection, instead, he is glad for all the love he has been getting for the Gowtam Tinnanuri’s directorial.
He said, “Jersey received a lot of love. But there's a lot for all of us to learn right now. It's been two years since COVID and we need to understand how the audience feels. It's time for all of us to learn. Jersey has taught me that anything can happen in life”.
For the unversed, Jersey was the official Bollywood remake of Nani’s National Award-winning film of the same name.
Further, he also spoke about Ali Abbas Zafar's action entertainer, “Ali’s film is ready. It is a kind of action that I have not done before. It is new for me and him. It is an edgy action, not like the typical one, it has a quirk to it."
