Shamshera: Vaani Kapoor talks about similarities between two of her co-stars Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh

Ranbir Kapoor and Vaani Kapoor will appear together on screen for the first time in Shamshera. This period-action drama is one of the most awaited films, this flick will also mark Ranbir Kapoor’s comeback to the big screen after four years. One of the most intriguing actresses to ever grace B-Town is Vaani Kapoor. Her filmography is very diverse, ranging from Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui to Befikre, War, and Shuddh Desi Romance. One of the biggest cinematic stars that have appeared in Bollywood is Ranbir Kapoor. In the entertainment business for about 15 years, he has had roles in some of the most well-known movies, including Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Barfi, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and most recently, Sanju.

In a recent interview, Vaani who has worked with both Ranveer and Ranbir was asked whether there were any similarities between them. To which she replied, “Both are brilliant actors and phenomenal at what they do. They are dreams for any filmmaker, producer, or co-actor. The one thing they don’t have in common is personalities. They both have such distinct personalities. Ranbir is super chill I think and Ranveer is super hyper, in a good way, and he has great energy.”

Vaani Kapoor will be next seen in War 2 alongside Hrithik Roshan. Meanwhile, the Ranbir Kapoor starrer Brahmastra will release on September 9. Recently, the lead cast of Shamshera along with the director was clicked at the airport as they were heading to the national capital for promotions. Directed by Karan Malhotra, Shamshera also stars Sanjay Dutt as the male antagonist in the film. Shamshera is set to hit the theatres on July 22.
