She's so graceful, don't know if I am: Sara Ali Khan on grandma Sharmila Tagore
Sara Ali Khan carries an illustrious legacy of being the daughter of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh as well as the granddaughter of legendary yesteryear actress Sharmila Tagore and ace cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi.
Time and again, the Atrangi Re (2021) actress has been compared to her mother and grandmother. While Sara's resemblance to her mother Amrita is uncanny, people often wonder if the former would some day reprise any role of her grandmother Sharmila Tagore.
Recently, while answering a fan's question on portraying her grandmother in her biopic, Sara said that it is not easy to match her grace.
"She's so graceful. I don't know if I'm graceful," answered Sara.
Sara also revealed that when she meets her granny, she does not talk much about her films and works.
"I speak to badi amma (grandmother Sharmila Tagore) quite a lot, but I don't think I've actually spent much time speaking to her about her career as such. There are so many other things. She's so well-read, interested in current events, and has a great sense of general knowledge," said Sara.
She's such a classy lady and she's had such a life. She has world views and we've spent so much more time talking about that than actually her craft, which I think I should," the Kedarnath actress added.
On professional front, Sara Ali Khan is gearing up for Laxman Utekar's film opposite Vicky Kaushal. Besides, she will also feature in Gaslight alongside Vikrant Massey.
