Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra along with the city of Mumbai commenced Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations in a grand manner and with lots of passion. Last week Raj Kundra was spotted at Lalbaug in Mumbai where he bought a Lord Ganesh idol home. Shilpa Shetty, unfortunately, could not accompany him as she has injured her leg and is bound to a wheelchair.
Despite this Shilpa made sure to put her best foot forward and welcome lord Ganesha to her residence. She even with the support of a walker stepped out of her house and performed a puja. In the festive mood, Shilpa Shetty took to her social media to share a picture of her family celebrating the festival. The image showed the Bollywood star with husband Raj Kundra and their two children, Viaan and Samisha looking blissfully happy in their ethnic wear. She captioned the post, “Life’s greatest blessing .. Family. #us #familia #blessing #gratitude #love #unconditional”.
Coming to why Shilpa is bound to a wheelchair. The fitness queen and Bollywood star were filming a sequence for Rohit Shetty's upcoming work titled ‘Indian Police Force’. Shilpa will be seen with Sidharth Malhotra and Vivek Oberoi. She shared on her Instagram an image of herself in a wheelchair with a cast. She wrote, "They said, Roll camera action - "break a leg!" I took it literally." Shilpa Shetty will soon be seen in her web series debut with 'Indian Police Force', making her also the first female cop in Rohit Shetty's cop universe.
