In reality, the two were briefly engaged in the 1990s until their engagement ended in divorce. Before marrying Twinkle Khanna, Akshay Kumar dated Shilpa Shetty and Priyanka Chopra. The actor and Raveena Tandon had sultry chemistry together and were the most adored couple in Bollywood. The actress from Mohra recently discussed her relationship with both Shilpa Shetty and her ex-boyfriend.

After almost getting married, the pair split up, but they are now recognised in public as having a strong relationship. In spite of their previous connection, Raveena Tandon says she still considers Akshay Kumar a friend when she discusses her relationship with him. Both were recently spotted together at a fashion show in Mumbai earlier this month. After their images and videos went viral, their reunion was a treat for their admirers. Raveena Tandon revealed that she is still friends with Akshay Kumar in an interview. The actress continued by saying that she holds him in the highest regard and that moving on requires respecting that. She continued by saying that, in her opinion, he is one of the film industry's strongest pillars.

She also discussed her friendship with Shilpa Shetty, Kumar's ex-girlfriend, in the same interview. Shilpa and the actress claimed to have become good friends. They have become closer over the course of time and experience. The actress further added that her husband and the Shetty sisters (Shilpa and Shamita) are close friends who go through both happy and difficult times together.

On the job front, Raveena Tandon most recently appeared in the Yash-starring film KGF 2 in a significant role. She was given the Padma Shri Award earlier this year by Droupadi Murmu, the president of India. The next time we'll see her, she'll be starring alongside Sanjay Dutt in ‘Ghudchadi.’
