Shooting for Khair Kare with Zaid was a surreal experience, says Gauahar Khan

Actress Gauahar Khan and her husband Zaid Darbar feature in a new music video titled Khair Kare. The song is sung by Afsana Khan and Sidhu Moose Wala and composed by lyricist Raj Fatehpur. Music for the song has been given by Sunny Vik.
Speaking about the positive response which Khair Kare has received so far, Gauahar only has gratitude for her fans. "The response has been amazing. We've been getting so many calls, messages... Everyone has really loved it. Zaid and I only want more and more people to watch and appreciate it," the Ishaqzaade (2012) actress said.
On what made the couple say yes to the video, Gauahar says she and Zaid instantly connected with the song which is about the essence of true love.
"Khuda Kare is a song that stays with you. It portrays love, faith and loyalty. We heard the song and were completely blown over by it. Another reason for saying yes to the music video is Afsana Khan. She's extremely talented and a popular singer and it was an honour working with her," added Gauahar.
Khair Kare was shot in Kashmir during the peak of winters. While the locales looks scenic and beautiful in the video, Gauahar reveals that it wasn't an easy breezy shoot.
"We filmed the song in Kashmir's Sonmarg, where the temperature was -2 degree celcius. It was difficult and our bodies had literally freezed. But we knew that the outcome will be great, so we kept working without complaining. It was all worth it. The locations look really beautiful in the video and that's another USP of Khair Kare," said Gauahar.
While Gauahar has worked with many actors in the industry, she vouches for the fact that shooting with her husband was an altogether different experience. "Zaid doesn't come with an ego baggage. He's a learner, an observer and has no qualms about picking up something new or adapt. Shooting with him was a surreal experience and as the song is out, I hope our fans shower it with more and more love and appreciation,” she concluded.
