As per the police, the remaining four detainees were also released on bail. According to Bheema Shankar Gulled, DCP East Bengaluru, Siddhanth Kapoor, and the four others would have to appear before the police as and when they are summoned.

Bengaluru Police had earlier detained Siddhanth Kapoor for allegedly consuming drugs at a party in the city on Sunday night.

Police raided a hotel on MG Road in the city where a party was being held on Sunday night after receiving a tip.

DCP Gulled had earlier said, "Last night, we got info that a party is going on and they have consumed drugs. We raided and detained 35 people. We didn't find any drugs on their person but found MDMA and ganja disposed of nearby. We will investigate CCTV to check who disposed of it."

Medical tests were performed on samples of people suspected of having consumed drugs, and Siddhanth's sample was one of six that tested positive. It was unclear whether they took drugs at the hotel or came to the party after taking drugs outside, according to police.
