Sidharth Malhotra Talks About His 10 Years In Bollywood, Saying, ‘I Finally Have a Voice’

Recently, Siddharth Malhotra celebrated his tenth anniversary in the film business. He worked as Karan Johar's assistant in the 2010 film My Name is Khan before making his Bollywood debut in the director's flick Student of the Year. Following this, during the next ten years, Sidharth gave some truly outstanding performances in films like Kapoor and Sons, Shershaah, Hasee Toh Phasee, and Ittefaq, among others. In a recent interview, Sidharth talked openly about his development as a performer and director.

Sidharth stated candidly to PTI, "I feel the filmmaker in me has evolved. I've learned so much as an actor. I feel like I can finally talk. Now, I can express my personality or my opinions in the language of filmmaking much better. He continued, the assistant director may have given him the "keeda" (bug) to be creatively involved in other parts.

Three words best describe the Baar Baar Dekho actor's first ten years in the industry: blood, sweat, and hard work.

"I learned that the ultimate value for any actor is when his acts or films are remembered beyond time," the Ek Villain star continued. People would tell me a scene from Hasee Toh Phasee or Kapoor and Sons is the true riches when they first met me. He claims that the box office revenue declines with time. However, the number of individuals who remember an actor's work continues to be a genuine test for an actor.

Sidharth Malhotra's most recent acting appearance was in the film Thank God. The movie, directed by Indra Kumar, also starred Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh in pivotal roles. Now that Mission Majnu, an espionage thriller starring Rashmika Mandanna and directed by Shantanu Bagchi, is coming out, Sidharth is getting ready for it. Additionally, he is developing the online series Indian Police Force by Rohit Shetty and Yodha by Dharma Production.
