At a music event in Chembur on Monday night, singer Sonu Nigam and his colleagues reportedly suffered abuse. After the event, Nigam and his colleagues quickly fled the area. After that, he made a complaint to the Chembur police department. According to an official's early investigation, the incident occurred when a local politician's son tried to take a photo with the singer.
A fight broke out between the politician's supporters and Nigam's crew as a result of the singer's team's failure to recognise him and pushing him away.
One individual can be seen falling from the stairs leading up to the stage in a video of the incident that has gone viral.
According to a police official from the Chembur station, statements are presently being recorded, and then a decision will be made regarding the next step.
According to Nigam's remark to the news agency ANI, "After the concert, I was coming down from the stage when a man held me. He pushed Hari and Rabbani who came to save me. Then, I fell on the steps. I filed a complaint so that people would think about forcefully taking selfies and causing scuffle."
