Sita -The Incarnation: Ramayana Star SLAMS Adipurush MAKERS, Praises Kangana Ranaut As Sita In UPCOMING Film! (Details Inside)

Sunil Lahiri, who played Laxman in the famous TV show 'Ramayana,' recently said that he didn't like the movie 'Adipurush' or the people who made it. He didn't like the movie and said that they totally ruined it by changing the story. But Lahri is now working on something else, and he has said that he is excited about Kangana Ranaut playing Sita in a movie called 'Sita: The Incarnation'.

Lahri said that he has full faith in Kangana Ranaut's skills and that he thinks she will play Sita with respect for the culture that the part represents. He said that he was sure that whatever Ranaut did, it would only make people like the figure more. But Lahri warned that he can't trust everyone interested in these kinds of projects, and he told them not to change their cultural heritage.

The star also made a slight dig at moviemakers who keep making films about the 'Ramayana'. In answer to rumours that Ranbir Kapoor would play Lord Ram and Alia Bhatt would play Sita in Nitesh Tiwari's upcoming film Ramayana, Lahri asked if religion had become a popular topic for content creation.

When Lahri turned his mind back to 'Adipurush', he said that it was the biggest letdown. People thought the conversation was cringe-worthy, so it's said that the creators are changing it and plan to put out a new version in theatres. Lahri didn't like the movie's plot, story, or characters and said they were all wrong. He said that the language in the movie was an example of how disrespectful it is to talk to people of today's youth. Lahri said that when the Ramayana TV series from more than 35 years ago was shown during the lockdown, the younger generation could relate and understand it.

He said that most of his fans are young people who like the way Ramayana is written, looks, and is put together as a whole. Lahri was watching 'Adipurush' when he noticed that the people sitting next to him were confused by how the story was portrayed. This made him feel disappointed and ashamed about how the movie turned out.
