Soni Razdan and Mahesh Bhatt overjoyed over Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor’s pregnancy

Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt revealed on Monday that she and her actor-husband Ranbir Kapoor are expecting their first child together. The announcement comes months after the love birds tied the knot in a private ceremony held in April.

Today, taking to Instagram, the Shandaar (2015) actress shared a picture from her ultrasound session, which also featured Ranbir Kapoor and announced the news to her fans. "Our baby.... Coming soon," Bhatt wrote in the caption.

The star couple's fans went into a frenzy as soon as Alia revealed her first pregnancy, and the news quickly spread like wildfire on social media. Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan, Alia's parents, have also responded to the couple's pregnancy news.

Mahesh Bhatt expressed his utmost happiness for Alia and Ranbir during an interview with a news portal. Mahesh Bhatt called Alia, his baby, saying, "...my baby is going to have a baby! I am so happy for Ranbir and Alia. May our ‘tribe’ increase. And now I have to prepare for the most important role of my life: the role of a grandfather. This is going to be a grand debut."

Soni Razdan also shared her happiness at the unexpected news that Alia and Ranbir revealed. She said, "We are overjoyed and overwhelmed. Words really don't do justice to this moment. I am just so, so happy for Ranbir and Alia and for all of us. There is nothing greater or more profound in this world than bringing another life into it.”

Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are set to share the screen space in Brahmastra. It is slated to release on 9th September 2022.
