Special birthday celebration for Amitabh Bachchan: Navya Naveli Nanda makes the cutest ‘nana’ wish
The Angry Young Man of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan, turned 80 today. People from all walks of life wished the actor, known as the "Shahenshah" of Bollywood, on his special day. But the post made by Big B's granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda drew our notice. She posted a sweet message on her Instagram account to wish her "nana" a happy birthday.
She posted the adorable picture to Instagram and added a few lines from the poem Agnipath by Big B's father Harivansh Rai Bachchan.
तू न थकेगा कभी,
तू न रुकेगा कभी,
तू न मुड़ेगा कभी,
कर शपथ, कर शपथ, कर शपथ,
अग्निपथ अग्निपथ अग्निपथ।
There never has, and never will be anyone like you happy birthday nana.
When loosely translated into Hindi, the poem says that you won't feel fatigued since you won't stop and glance behind you. Consider the assurance of the same. There will never be another person like him, Navya added in her post.
Shweta Bachchan, Amitabh's daughter, and Navya's mother, also shared old photos to wish her father. A young portrait of Amitabh Bachchan smiling with his poet father, Harivansh Rai Bachchan, may also be seen in the images. His mother, Teji Bachchan, and other family members are also shown in the picture. Unmissable childhood images of Shweta and her father were also uploaded. While Shweta is grinning and talking to her father in some photos, the actor is seen performing puja in another. She referred to her father as a great old man in her caption.
