Sushmita Sen and Lalit Modi's Relationship
Sushmita Sen made news a few months ago for her alleged relationship with Lalit Modi. He had used his Twitter account to post some romantic images of the diva and refer to her as "My love." Even in his Instagram bio, he put it. However, the same Instagram bio is why they are once more in the spotlight. Sushmita Sen is no longer included in it, leading to rumors that the pair have broken up. Although it hasn't been confirmed as of yet, if it is real, their relationship was pretty short-lived.
In July, Mr. Modi, the first chairman of the IPL, revealed his relationship with the former Miss Universe for the first time and released pictures of their Maldives vacation.
Soon after, he put up his photo with Ms. Sen as the profile picture on the photo-sharing app. He also updated his bio, mentioning her profile: "Founder iplt20 INDIAN PREMIER LEAGUE - finally starting a new life with my partner in crime. My love sushmitasen47 (sic)."
Lalit Modi-Sushmita Sen Break Up?
On Tuesday morning, however, he changed the image on his Instagram profile and removed the part in his bio that mentioned Ms. Sen. "Founder iplt20 INDIAN PREMIER LEAGUE - Moon (sic)," it read this morning. His profile now features his solo picture with a national flag filter.
Meanwhile, several sources connected the development to what appeared to be the breakup of the relationship. Neither Mr. Modi nor Ms. Sen has responded to the rumors as of yet.
Mr. Modi making his relationship public in July had gone viral on the internet, with Ms. Sen being subjected to unending commentary and scrutiny, including "gold-digger" brickbats.
In response, Ms. Sen put up a long post stating, "It's heartbreaking to see just how miserable and unhappy the world around us is becoming." "I dig deeper than Gold, and I've always (famously) preferred Diamonds!! And yes, I still buy them myself!!! (sic)" she had said.
