The Lakme Fashion Week X FDCI featured talented actor Taapsee Pannu as the show-stopping model for fashion designer Monisha Jaising. In a bright red gown with a deep plunging neckline, she looked beautiful. The actress also donned a statement gold necklace that ingeniously combined contemporary and traditional elements.
After she shared the picture on her Instagram, many of her celebrity friends praised it and supported her style, but some internet users were upset by it. Why? Well, they made note of the intrinsically carved Goddess Lakshmi motif on the gold necklace and felt the actor shouldn't have paired it with a skimpy dress.
Returning to the appearance, Taapsee looked stunning displaying her curled hairstyle with minimal makeup.
Regarding her professional life, she will appear in the Phir Aayi Haseen Dilruba sequel to Haseen Dilruba, whose first look poster was revealed earlier this year. Agra is allegedly the setting for the sequel.
