Ajay Bahl said in an interview with the Tried & Refused Productions podcast that 30 pages of the 117-page screenplay were never shot, which proved these claims. He said that the lost scenes showed important things like the romance between the main characters, one character's battle with alcoholism, and the depth of the main character's depression. Because of this, the film's quick and disjointed story has made it hard for viewers to connect emotionally with the characters.
