Tiger Shroff addresses having an Eid release for Heropanti 2
Tiger Shroff who made his acting debut with Heropanti (2014) eight years back, is currently gearing up for the release of its sequel, Heropanti 2. The film will be released in theatres on April 29, 2022, which is Eid. This film will also mark Tiger Shroff’s first Eid release.
Tiger Shroff recently stated on the subject, saying that, like Salman Khan, releasing a film during the Eid celebration is a huge responsibility. “Heropanti 2 is my first ever Eid release, a period that has been synonymous to Salman sir because of his blockbuster film releases. I am aware that the shoes are too big to fill but I’m glad that I got this opportunity to entertain the audience around a festive time like this. It’s a huge responsibility but the pressure reduces when I see all the love that is coming my way. I feel grateful.”
Sajid Nadiadwala produced Heropanti 2, which is directed by Ahmed Khan, who also directed Tiger's last film, Baaghi 3 (2020). Tara Sutaria and Nawazuddin Siddiqui also star in the film. Heropanti 2 will mark Tiger’s fifth collaboration with Sajid Nadiadwala following Heropanti (2014), Baaghi (2016), Baaghi 2 (2018) and Baaghi 3 (2020). Rajat Arora wrote the screenplay, and A R Rahman composed the soundtrack.
Aside from Heropanti 2, Tiger Shroff will also be seen in Ganapath opposite Kriti Sanon. Surprisingly, Shroff and Sanon made their acting debut together with Heropanti.
