Tiger Shroff talks about the difference between Heropanti 2 and Baaghi 2; Mission: 'Impossible meets James Bond meets War'
Tiger Shroff debuted in the Hindi film industry in 2014 with Sajid Nadiadwala's Heropanti. Eight years later, the action star is preparing to return to the big screen with Heropanti 2, the sequel to the hit film. With his breathtaking action stunts and stunning dance skills in films, Tiger has carved out his own niche in the industry.
Heropanti 2's trailer is similarly chock-full of gravity-defying action moments. The young actor recently spoke with a top publication about how his upcoming film differs from the Baaghi franchise, one of his most popular action films.
Talking about the differences between the two franchises, Tiger said, "The world of Heropanti 2 is different in terms of action. If Baaghi was raw and rustic, this is massy and set in a glossy world. It is not muddy and dirty; every frame is slick. It has the vibe of say, Mission: Impossible meets James Bond meets War".
The actor went on to say that he is satisfied with his reputation as an action hero since he is providing his audience with exactly what they want. "I am following the formula that works for me. I am aware of what's working and what's not working in terms of my career," said the 32-year old actor.
In the same interview, Tiger revealed that he chooses his scripts and characters keeping kids in mind, because as an action hero, kids look up to him and he doesn’t want to misguide the future generation.
Tiger Shroff plays Babloo, a brilliant hacker who locks horns with Nawazuddin Siddiqui's Laila to put an end to cybercrime around the world in Ahmed Khan's Heropanti 2. Tara Sutaria plays the female lead in the film.
