Tiku Weds Sheru: Nawazuddin Siddiqui Responds To KISSING SCENE BACKLASH, Slams Younger Generation as 'NALLI'

Nawazuddin Siddiqui has given a strong response to the criticism he got for kissing 21-year-old actress Avneet Kaur on-screen in their new movie 'Tiku Weds Sheru.' When people pointed out the big difference in age between the two actors, Nawazuddin gave his honest opinion on the issue. When asked about the criticism of his romantic scenes with Avneet, who is half his age, Nawazuddin Siddiqui said that passion has nothing to do with age. "Why will there be a problem?" he asked. Romance never gets old. The trouble is that the young men have lost their ability to be romantic. We grew up in a time when romance was different. We'd love each other and be together for years. Shah Rukh Khan still plays romantic parts today because he thinks that young people are "nalli" (useless). They have no sense of romance."

Nawazuddin Siddiqui was disappointed that young people don't care about marriage. He went on to say, "Today, everything happens on WhatsApp, whether it's love or a breakup. This is happening for a reason. Romance can be done by people who have lived it. Who else is going to do it?" Even though it's hard for Nawazuddin Siddiqui to make films that do well at the box office, he is still a talented actor.
