On the trailer launch of the rom-com film, 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar' director Luv Ranjan ensured to keep the two leads, Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, piecemeal from one another. They both took turns speaking on the stage, while the other hid before. Later, when the whole platoon posed for photos, the brace was kept on opposite sides of the stage. The filmmaker revealed that if the followership wanted to see them together, they would have to catch them on the big screen.
