Bappi Lahiri, the iconic Bollywood singer and music composer, died at the age of 69, on Wednesday morning. He was hospitalised at the CritiCare hospital. The singer had a number of health problems. The hospital's director, Dr. Deepak Namjoshi, stated, “He died due to OSA (obstructive sleep apnea) shortly before midnight’’.

Lahiri was last seen on the reality television show Bigg Boss 15, where he was promoting the release of his grandson's song "Baccha Party".
