Varun Dhawan Says Why Bhediya Is Worth Watching, ‘Trained A Lot For The Role’

Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan is promoting his much-anticipated film Bhediya, which comes out tomorrow (November 25). The crowd is already raving about the movie's trailer and songs. Significant parts are also played by actors like Kriti Sanon, Abhishek Banerjee, and Deepak Dobriyal in Bhediya. The horror comedy, which will be released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, is receiving favorable reviews.

In several interviews, the Student Of The Year actor has discussed his delight in working in the horror comedy genre and how Bhediya would be a cinematic adventure for the audience. To improve his fitness level for the man-to-wolf metamorphosis, Varun has been working hard for six months.

Before the movie's release, Varun Dhawan spoke candidly about his experience making his first creature comedy film and the physical changes he underwent to play the part. When asked how he could play a shape-shifter in Bhediya, Varun acknowledged that it was challenging.

The actor went on to detail the type of effort that went into making the film and promised that audiences would see it after seeing it.

"This movie has undergone a massive lot of work and effort. The visual treat that they are in for should leave folks speechless. Playing this persona physically was so exhausting that I would be exhausted at the end of the day, "he said.

"Certain sequences require so much angst and effort that it would wear me out. I put in a lot of training for the position. I modified my diet and practiced animal flow exercises for six months. It was challenging at first, but by the end it was incredibly joyful. How do you convince people that a guy can transform into a wolf? That is so incredible. Therefore, I wanted to nail this character. That was very difficult, "Added he.

Varun Dhawan talked about his passion for humor in the same interview.

"I adore it so much that I make sure humor is in every one of my movies. The audience will enjoy this movie very much. I don't do a lot of comedic acting in it. The circumstances bring out the humor and increase the excitement. I'm in a completely different role."

In terms of his professional career, Varun Dhawan most recently appeared alongside Kiara Advani in the box-office hit Jugjugg Jeeyo from Dharma Productions. The actor's upcoming film, Bawaal, stars Janhvi Kapor.
