Vatsal Sheth and Ayesha Takia made their Hindi cinema debut on this day 19 years ago with the thriller 'Tarzaan- The Wonder Car' under the direction of Abbas-Mustan. Ajay Devgn played Vatsal's father in the movie, while other actors like Amrish Puri, Farida Jalal, Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Shakti Kapoor, and Gulshan Grover also appeared. Raj, the protagonist of the movie, transforms his late father's vehicle into the beautiful Taarzan. However, the presence of his father's ghost causes the car to come to life. It quickly begins murdering his father's killers as well.

He just posted a vintage photo taken on the movie set. which features the movie's director, Abbas-Mustan, Ajay Devgn, and a large number of other cast members. In an effort to relive the movie, he posted this image to his Facebook profile.
Vatsal claims that even though the movie went into the unfamiliar waters of a revenge automobile, he could not have hoped for a better start as the movie approaches its 19-year anniversary. "I was never skeptical and was more than excited. Abbas-Mustan is a very big name in the industry and I got to debut under them, It was a car movie, and who doesn't like cars? It was such an amazing concept, set up in a nice way, big budget film and we had Ajay sir in the film. I thought it couldn't get better than that," he mentioned.
Although the movie did poorly at the box office, it quickly gained cult status once viewers found it on satellite and eventually on OTT platforms.
Vatsal was last appeared with Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan, and Kriti Sanon in the pan-Indian movie 'Adipurush.' He recently wrapped up filming for his Gujarati debut movie, in which Helly Shah also appears.
