Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Pandey take to the streets of Mumbai to promote ‘Liger’
After two grand trailer launches the leads have returned to the city of Mumbai. One would think the promotion train has taken a halt but this is Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday we are talking about. The two have taken to the streets of Bandra to dance with the youth to their upcoming film ‘Liger’s songs. The duo were all smiles in their comfy clothes as they danced with the young and old in Bandra, Mumbai.
Vijay opted to wear a T-shirt over loose denim and looked handsome as always. Co-star Ananya Panday went for the ‘comfy-chic’ look with a white crop top over denim. The two were captured by the paparazzi as they danced and grooved with the crowd in Bandra. Apart from the promotional appearance in Bandra, the duo are trending on social media for their appearance on the popular talk show ‘Koffee with Karan’. The host Karan graciously asked Vijay his views on his Ned costar Ananya Pandey, to which Vijay replied “She makes me laugh. I find her very cute. I laugh a lot around her. She learns quickly. She did a very good job on Liger." Ananya Pandey did hesitantly speak about Vijay’s ‘slice of cheese’ conversation that went down with Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor. The whole conversation was spent leaving much unsaid or as the host suggests between the lines.
Coming to the film ‘Liger’ which will see a theatrical release on the 25th of August is about a boxer played by Vijay and his love interest Ananya. The film has an iconic cast composed of Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Vishu Reddy, Ali, Makarand Deshpande, and Getup Srinu. Shocking to Bollywood this film also has the famous Mike Tyson playing an interesting role. During their ‘Koffee’ appearance Vijay spoke about how actors like Shah Rukh Khan making it in Bollywood as an outsider from Delhi gave him and many of his contemporaries a glimmer of hope. The actor expressed how in the bigger picture he wants to be able to give that hope to his generation.
