Vijay Varma ‘Dodges It’ When His Mother Approaches Him To Get Married; ‘I Am Just Able To…’

By formally confirming their relationship, Tamannaah Bhatia and Vijay Varma have put an end to the rumors. In the four-part anthology Lust Stories 2 on Netflix, their chemistry was impossible to overlook. The way the pair talks adoringly about one another in interviews demonstrates how much in love they are. So when is Vijay hoping to tie the knot? Not soon, it would appear. The Darlings actor discussed how, despite his mother's pressure, he "dodges" the issue of his marriage in an interview with a media portal.

In an interview with DNA, Vijay Varma disclosed that growing up in a Marwari family meant that marriage was a constant topic of conversation. He made a conscious decision to tune out the conversations and concentrate on his task instead. “I am a Marwari. In our community, boys are considered of marriageable age at 16. So, all this began very early... On top of that, I had become an actor by then so there was that too. But I never gave much bhaav (attention) to it because I knew I had my career as a question mark in front of me. I had my blinders on, and I was just looking at my career,” said Vijay.

Vijay Varma also discussed his mother's persistent requests for him to get married. The actor skillfully sidesteps the query by persuading his mother that he is leading his dream life. “My mother still asks me. On every phone call, she still asks me but I am just able to dodge it because I am doing well in my life,” said Vijay.

Vijay Varma got 2023 off to a strong start. In addition to ‘Lust Stories 2’, he also won praise for his role in the Dahaad web series on Amazon Prime. ‘Dahaad’ left a lasting impression on viewers and had key roles for Sonakshi Sinha and Gulshan Devaiah as well. Vijay, who is most known for playing antagonists, will be seen donning a police uniform in his next thriller series ‘Kaalkoot’.
