Vir Das's statement has also received mixed reactions. A fan questioned him, "What about all the women who are upset?"
Someone else said, "Committed to one and casually dating for 4 is fine, but then don't paint them as an ideal woman, they are a threat to society. I hope you won't mind if your mother starts seeing 5 others casually while coming back to your father at night?"
Deepika Padukone's Controversial Confession:
In Koffee With Karan season 8 episode, Deepika had said, “I wanted to be single for a while because I had come from difficult relationships. I was going through a phase where I said 'I just don't want to be attached, don't want to be committed'. And I had fun! And then he comes along, so I didn't commit, until he proposed to me. There was no 'commitment as such. Even if we were technically allowed to see other people, we would just keep coming back to each other.”
