Virat Kohli feels inspired as he lauds Anushka Sharma’s hard work and dedication in prepping for Chakda Xpress, and says, ‘Hats off’

Anushka Sharma is preparing to return to the screens after a hiatus of more than four years. She will appear playing the role of Jhulan Goswami, an Indian cricket player, in the sports drama Chakda 'Xpress. She has underwent rigorous training for her role.
After watching her hard work and preparation for her role, her husband Virat Kohli recently went all praises for her. In a recent interview, he said, "For me, a movie was just about watching it for three hours. When I met her and I saw what it actually takes to compile a film and to be in that space and character… When I saw behind-the-scenes, the kind of hard work it takes, I was like, ‘Boss, hats off, respect’. You can only be an actor at that level if you are madly passionate about it. I can’t imagine myself shooting for 18 hours, or 20 hours. Retake pe retake kar rahe ho, weather is tough, you’re shooting in hard conditions… It’s very inspiring.”
Anushka is going above and beyond to give the difficult role her all. To give followers a sense of her efforts, she regularly shares selfies and pictures from her practice session in the past. Chakda Xpress is going to have a digital release and will premiere on Netflix. The makers haven’t yet officially announced the date.
