Regardless of the medium, artists that are passionate about cinema never hesitate to display their artistic talent. There are very few artists who give their all in everything they do, whether it be for television or the big screen. In the more than three decades that he has spent in the film business, Vishwajeet Pradhan has primarily played negative characters. Pradhan entered the OTT market with the online series Aarya. After over 30 years, the outstanding actor has made a comeback to the advertising industry by acting in an advertisement.
Feroz Khan's 1992 film "Yalgaar" served as the actor's debut into the film industry, and ever since then, he hasn't looked back. When Pradhan first started his career, he worked on a Colgate commercial directed by director Pankaj Parashar before making the transition to the film industry. Talking about it and his new ad in an interview, he said, "It was a blessing for me to begin my career with the TVC in 1989. Before breaking into the film industry, I was able to make commercials for a number of other companies. I experienced a fresh sense of unfamiliarity during the ad shoot, like a newcomer. It's an opportunity to work with Sharat Katariya, a director who has won a National Award, and it's a great, tough commercial film concept. I have greatly loved his movies like Dum Lagaa ke Haisha, Sui Dhaaga: Made In India, etc.”
Once "Yalgaar" was over, Pradhan began to work on movies and soap operas. He returns to complete the circle where it began over thirty years later. having directed more than 225 movies, a few serials, and a web series. Vishwajeet feels blessed to have had roles in movies like "Mohra," "Duplicate," "Gadar: Ek Prem Katha," and the suspense web series "Aarya." He will shortly start filming for the third season of "Aarya" with Ram Madhvani and Sushmita Sen.
