Vivek Agnihotri had his 'The Kashmir Files', the most profitable film from Bollywood this year. There are rumours about director Vivek Agnihotri and his actor wife Pallavi Joshi having bought a new apartment in the city worth RS 18 crore, after the film's success, 'The Kashmir Files.' But he broke his silence and reacted to such rumours.
Director Vivek Agnihotri has chosen a sarcastic way to clarify it. He tweeted, "I am really grateful to all the Congressis, AAPiyas and unemployed Bollywoodiyas for building new apartments for me every day and furnishing them with luxury furniture. I really liked the sofa which came from 10 Janpath. Thank you, everyone."
The film was in the news; Israeli filmmaker and Juri chief Nadav Lapid, at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI), said, "he was 'shocked' and 'disturbed' by its inclusion in the competitive section." He termed the film "a propaganda, vulgar movie, inappropriate for a competitive artistic section of such a prestigious film festival."
Israeli filmmaker Nadav has apologised for his comments. At the same time, filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri started working on his next project, 'The Vaccine War.'
