The latest strides in technology have revolutionized the film industry, enabling the realization of seemingly impossible feats. Recently, director Ayan Mukerji embarked on an ambitious endeavor in Spain, crafting one of the most grandiose chase sequences in the history of Indian cinema.
Remarkably, this elaborate scene starred the notable duo of Hrithik Roshan and NTR Jr. in absentia, as they were engrossed in the filming of their respective projects, 'Fighter' and 'Devara,' in Mumbai and Hyderabad.
Employing an innovative filmmaking approach, Mukerji orchestrated the scene with the aid of the actors' skilled stunt doubles. Leveraging cutting-edge body swap technology, the doubles seamlessly assumed the physical roles of the actors, a technique previously employed during the shooting of 'Pathaan' in Dubai and Russia.
Spanning 12 intense days, the Spain schedule demanded a meticulous selection process for the stunt doubles. Mukerji diligently scouted through an extensive pool of over 50 candidates for both Hrithik and NTR Jr. before zeroing in on the perfect physique for the roles.
Prior to departure, the chosen doubles underwent rigorous trial shoots alongside the actors, refining their movements and mannerisms to ensure a seamless integration within the scenes.

Following the successful completion of the Spain shoot, Mukerji is poised to undertake another high-octane action block, before transitioning to the emotive and conversational sequences involving Hrithik, NTR Jr., and Kiara. Fans can anticipate the release of 'War 2' in cinemas during the Republic Day weekend in 2025.
