In a shocking admission, Karan Johar discussed his initial concerns with Ranveer Singh's selection for Aditya Chopra's debut movie, 'Band Baaja Baarat'. Ranveer's previous director, Karan, voiced scepticism about his appearance and questioned whether he had the potential to be a hero. Ranveer made this open admission at his first programme on 'Koffee With Karan', hosted by Karan Johar.

In the video, Karan is seen talking to Ranveer about his worries and admitting that he wasn't happy when Yash Chopra told him that Ranveer would be in the movie. He shone like a star in his debut movie, demonstrating his mettle.
