I was actually working on another movie when Sunil Manchanda, the producer of 'Tere Naam' and a good friend of mine, came up to me and recommended that I shave my head to fit the role. Salman also told a story about a time when he was sick with a fever and the director of the other movie kept telling him to go to the set. He went into the bathroom on a whim and shaved his head because he was angry about the situation. The next day, he called Sunil Manchanda and told him about his choice. "I cut my hair and am ready to join 'Tere Naam,'" he said. Salman really wanted to play Radhe Mohan in the movie, even though many people around him told him not to.

This story shows how hard it was for Salman to decide whether or not to take the part in 'Tere Naam' and how determined he was to go through with it in the end.
