Who Is AP Dhillon’s ‘MYSTERY’ Girlfriend Banita Sandhu? – Here’s All What We Know About The ‘October’ Actress! (Details Inside)

It was only recently that BollywoodMDB reported that Canadian singer and rapper AP Dhillon is dating Banita Sandhu, who is also a part of his music video. Speculations went viral after the two were spotted sharing cosy moments during their vacation.

So now, we dig deeper into who is AP Dhillon’s mystery girl! If one were to recall, Banita rose to fame with Shoojit Sircar's ‘October’.

The director had previously mentioned that he spotted Banita in a Vadafone advertisement after which he casted her in Wringly advert. Witnessing a massive response, Banita bagged the role opposite Varun Dhawan in the movie.

Going through her past interviews, Banita mentioned that her mother is a Bollywood fanatic and when she was offered the role opposite Varun, she did not know who he was and things worked in her favour probably because she was not aware of his star power back then.

As for her personal life, Banita was born and brought up in Caerleon, Wales in a British-Indian household. She said that during the shoot of her film, she learnt more about her roots and her passion for acting.

She had said, “My grandparents came to Britain from the Punjab, northern India, shortly after World War Two. Both my parents were born here and my sister and I were raised in a middle-class existence in Caerleon."

Post October, Shoojit went to cast Banita again, opposite Vicky Kaushal in the 2021 film ‘Sardar Udham’.

Banita had to learn the sign language in the film and had to practise how to emote without any dialogues. Along with her professional and personal life, she also made headlines for refusing to undergo treatment after testing covid-19 positive at a government facility as she felt it lacked infrastructure. She issued a clarification on the same later.
