Wife Rhea Kapoor to bankroll husband Karan Boolani’s directorial debut?

According to reports, producer Rhea Kapoor’s husband Karan Boolani is set to make his directorial debut with a film titled Thank You for Coming. The latest we hear is that the film is being bankrolled by Kapoor under her banner.
Thank You for Coming stars Bhumi Pednekar as the female lead. The makers are reportedly planning to announce the film once filming is over.
Sharing more details, a source in the know informs a publication, “The term “coming” in the title has a different meaning and suggested by the title, it is another social comedy. The film is produced by Rhea Kapoor under her banner and is in conversation with another leading producer to come on board as the studio partner.”
The source goes on to add, “The team has silently started shooting for the film in Delhi and are in the process of calling it a wrap by the end of this month. The film will be ready for release in the next couple of months. An official announcement about the title and star cast will be made once the shoot is wrapped up.”
Boolani has previously directed the successful Netflix series Selection Day. He also executive produced the first six episodes of season 1.
