Abhishek Bachchan's simple birthday wish for Aishwarya got a lot of attention. Amid all the talk about their marriage, he remembered saying in an interview with Vogue India in 2010 that their disagreements were more like healthy debates and that he often started the process of making up because they had a rule not to go to bed angry. Abhishek made a funny comment about how men often say sorry because they are tired, and he agreed that women do think they are better than men.
Me! Me. Women don’t make up! But we have a rule—we don’t sleep on a fight. And in defence of all men, I want to tell you, half the time the reason we give in and say sorry is because we’re just so sleepy and want to go to bed! Besides, women are the superior race, and they’re always right. The sooner men accept that, the better. It doesn’t matter what you say, even if you have concrete proof, in their world, it’s futile, it makes no sense."
Aishwarya said on 'The Kapil Sharma Show' that she was usually the first to say sorry and work out problems, which was different from what Abhishek said. The different statements made their relationship more interesting.
