Sachin: A Billion Dreams kept up the pace even on working Monday. The film performed exceptionally well, considering it to be a docudrama.
In its first weekend, Sachin’s film touched the 27.85 Cr mark. Breaking the collection by days, on Friday it earned 8.40 Cr, Saturday 9.20 Cr, and Sunday 10.25 Cr. It performed satisfactorily well on its first Monday with 4.20 Cr. Therefore, it has registered 32.25 Cr as it’s till date box-office collection.
Sachin: A Billion Dreams has already reached the Superhit stature. Being made in documentary style, it had low production cost. Therefore, the film is said to have covered the majority of its investment.
Considering the huge fan base of Sachin Tendulkar , such box-office collection was expected. Also, the contribution of esteemed cricket buffs like Harsha Boghale, Gideon Haigh, and Boria Majumdar has added an appeal to it. Plus, the testimonials given by Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Virat Kohli, and Virendra Sehwag have made this docudrama even more special.
The decision of releasing Sachin: A Billion Dreams in multiple languages have worked well in the film’s favor. Trade Analyst predicts the consistent collection at the box-office in the coming weekdays.
