AN ACTION HERO BO DAY 3: Slight rise in the Weekend box office collections for Ayushmann Khurrana's movie

An Action Hero, starring Ayushmann Khurrana, debuted on December 2 and experienced a modest increase on its first day. It gradually picked up more speed during the weekend. On Day 3, December 4, An Action Hero earned Rs 5 crore, according to early figures. But it's still not enough. In terms of box office competition, Anirudh Iyer's action comedy thriller faces off against Varun Dhawan's Bhediya and Drishyam 2 starring Ajay Devgn.

Ayushmann Khurrana and Jaideep Ahlawat’s movie An Action Hero was released on December 2. It is Ayushmann's debut action movie. The movie brought in Rs. 1.50 crore on Day 1. (India net). The box office slowly picked up steam over the course of its first weekend in theatres. Even though Day 3 indicated a 60% gain, the numbers are still low. The entire sum collected was Rs 5.87 crore, or Rs 2.40 crore, in a single day. An Action Hero received a 16.69% overall occupancy in Hindi on Sunday, December 4. Trade sources assert that Chandigarh, Delhi, Gurgaon, and Noida had slightly greater receipts.

The producers are Aanand L Rai, Bhushan Kumar, and Krishan Kumar, and the director is Anirudh Iyer. An Action Hero's plot centers on Maanav, a youth icon, and celebrity. Maanav was just 30 years old and in the prime of his career when he was injured while filming in Haryana. Maanav is currently living in hiding in London as the rest of the world hunts him out. Tanishk Bagchi, Biddu, Parag Chhabra, and Amar Jalal wrote the movie's music. Sunny MR wrote the score for the background music.
