'AN ACTION HERO' BOX OFFICE COLLECTION: Ayushmann and Jaideep’s film flops drastically on Day 4
Ayushmann Khurrana-Jaideep Ahlawat's An Action Hero faced competition at the box office. The movie had a very low count on Day 4 because there wasn't much of an audience.

What is the BOX OFFICE COLLECTION of An Action Hero?
On the weekend, Jaideep Ahlawat and Ayushmann Khurrana made modest but steady progress up the success ladder. However, a significant decline was seen on the first Monday. Despite receiving favorable reviews, the movie's Friday box office debut at Rs. 1.31 crore on the domestic front took in only Rs. 2.52 crore on Sunday. Since its December 2 release, the Anirudh Iyer-directed movie has made Rs 5.99 crore in its first three days of release. An Action Hero barely generated any revenue on its opening Monday. Trade reports state that the Ayushmann-starring movie has so far brought in a total of Rs 6 crore.
An Action Hero had competition at the box office from Ajay Devgn's Drishyam 2 and Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon's Bhediya. Day 4 saw very little attendance for the movie, which resulted in a very low count. According to reports, 8.70% of An Action Hero's customers were in Hindi.

December 5th, Monday - According to Box Office India, attendance in broad circuits was still dismal. "Simply put, you cannot make an action movie that does not appeal to the mass circuits because the urban audience would be severely constrained unless the movie is more of a concept thriller and the urban audience may learn about it by word of mouth. Due to the lack of widespread attendance, the movie did not perform well on Sunday " stated BOI

Ayushmann expressed his gratitude for the movie and the viewers of An Action Hero on social media. He noted:“This is my first action film. This is Anirudh Iyer’s first movie, it is musician’s Parag’s first theatrical, writer Neeraj Yadav’s first film…During the entire journey of An Action Hero, it really felt like we were the newest students of cinema and were all set to make something really new and exciting.”
