Riteish Deshmukh and Vivek Oberoi starrer hit the screens last Friday. With no major releases, it got the entire week to earn its business at the box-office. Yet, day by day its performance got worse.

Bank Chor was released in across 700 screens in India. Though it was not expected to make an outstanding business, it has performed below the expectation. The only time film saw its peak was on last Saturday with 1.66 Cr collection. Next day, it had to face a huge crisis with India-Pakistan match. In the coming week, it has negligible chance to survive it front of Tubelight. Considering Salman Khan’s fan following this Riteish and Vivek starrer has concluded its defeat.
Riteish and Vivek have earlier starred together in superhit films like Masti and Grand Masti. The makers of Bank Chor were expecting the same results from its youth-oriented target audience. Having a comic element, the film also starred Rhea Chakraborty.
Directed by Bumpy, film Bank Chor has been made at a budget of 10 crores + 5 crores for P and A. If it sustains for a few more weeks, makers can expect cost recovery.
