According to Pinkvilla, the thriller made an astonishing sum between Rs 7.7 crore and Rs 8.5 crore on its third Saturday. Drishyam 2 is a remake of the same-titled thriller starring Mohanlal, which also features Shriya Saran, Tabu, and Akshaye Khanna. It is under Abhishek Pathak's direction.
