Bholaa, the March 30th movie from Ajay Devgn, suffered a significant decline in sales on Day 2. Day 3, April 1, made up for lost time, though, with a strong Saturday collection. The day's revenue was the largest of the three days, coming in at about Rs 12 crore, bringing the total to about Rs 30 crore. The movie's direction is also by Ajay Devgn. Bholaa, which also features Tabu, had a strong debut at the box office, earning over Rs 11.20 crore.
On March 30, ‘Bholaa’ had its world premiere to enthusiastic reviews from both the public and reviewers. On its opening day, the movie brought in Rs. 11.20 crore. The movie made considerably more money on Day 3, April 1. According to early reports, it made Rs 12 crore in a single day. Hence, the overall revenue now stands at Rs 30.60 crore. ‘Bholaa’, meanwhile, had an overall Hindi occupancy rate of 18.36% on April 1.
Box Office India claims, “"Bholaa made good gains on Saturday as collections will come in the same range as day one with around 10-11 crore nett. The business in many multiplexes of the big centres is more than the first day but collections at places where it got a good benefit of the holiday will not reach the first day level. The growth should come in at 50-60% which is good and the collections are a decent 27 crore nett plus over the first three days. As mentioned earlier the cinema reports of the film are decent but the mass pockets have been hit by Ramazan and this makes the Sunday crucial for the film."
The report also suggested, "The growth on Saturday has come from the bigger multiplexes with the 3D prints showing pretty good occupancy but on Sunday it is about mass and the growth has to come from the Hindi circuits. The film should be targeting a 40 crore nett weekend but it depends if Sunday can push or will Ramazan again come in the way."
After ‘You, Me Aur Hum’, ‘Shivay’, and ‘Mayday’, ‘Bholaa’ is Ajay Devgn's fourth film under his own direction. The movie is a remake of Lokesh Kanagaraj's Kaithi. In the movie, Ajay will work with Tabu once more; she will replace ‘Kuttey’ as a police officer. Among others, Deepak Dobriyal, Sanjay Mishra, Amala Paul, and Vineet Kumar appear in the movie. On March 30, 2023, ‘Bholaa’ was released in theatres. In the movie, Bholaa is finally returning home to see his young daughter after ten years in jail. He will soon encounter a path lined with absurd barriers and the threat of death at every turn.
