CIRKUS BOX OFFICE COLLECTION DAY 3: Ranveer Singh’s movie sees downfall on Christmas; Look at the results

Despite heavy promotion and Ranveer Singh's commanding swagger, the Rohit Shetty-directed film Cirkus was unable to lure crowds to theatres. The movie had a dismal opening day and a poor Christmas. Along with Ranveer, famous actors Jacqueline Fernandez, Pooja Hegde, Johnny Lever, Mukesh Tiwari, and Varun Sharma also make an appearance in the comedy.

'83 and YRF's Jayshbhai Jordaar were two back- to -back disasters for Ranveer Singh. The actor was assured in his ability to play his part in Rohit Shetty's blockbuster Cirkus after completing the two movies. Based on the box office collecting trend, the film does not seem to have impressed the public. The third-day numbers are now public, and after a lackluster opening, they surely did not receive a favorable response.The movie earned approximately Rs 7.45 crore on Day 3 according to estimates from that day.

FILM CRITIC & TRADE ANALYST TARAN ADARSH

According to industry expert Taran Adarsh, Cirkus made Rs 6.25 crore on its opening day, which is a rather pitiful number for a holiday film. Even though there was little growth on Day 2, it still generated Rs 6.40 crores. The third day's gain of just 1 crore was not encouraging for a movie with numerous A-list actors.
