About ‘Bholaa’
'Bholaa' is the year's third-highest opening, after only Pathaan, which earned Rs 57 crore on its first day, and Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, which earned Rs 15.73 crore. The picture made improvement over the weekend, according to Box Office India, and performed better in smaller centres than multiplexes.
'Bholaa' also stars Tabu, Deepak Dobriyal, Vineeth Kumar, and Gajraj Rao. The film is a remake of the Tamil film Kaithi, and it is likewise directed by Ajay, who has a less-than-impressive track record as a director. He was previously the director of U Me Aur Hum, Shivaay, and Runway 34.
